Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs to host town hall meeting on 2026 city budget

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites residents to attend a public town hall meeting

focused on the 2026 city budget. The meeting is set for Tuesday, September 30 from

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the community room at the MLK Library, 2901 N. Dr. Martin

Luther King, Jr. Dr.

The meeting will feature a presentation from Nik Kovac, director of the Department of

Administration Budget Office, to provide an update on the Mayor’s proposed 2026 city

budget.

There will also be representatives from the Neighborhood Improvement Development

Corp. (NIDC), Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS), Department of Public

Works (DPW), Department of City Development, and District Five and District One of

the Milwaukee Police Department to address some of the questions and concerns

residents may have.
