About the event
Join us for the Community Information Session and Health Fair on Sat, Oct 21, 2023! This event will take place in person, starting at 10:00 AM and ending at 2:00 PM.
Our Community Information Session will offer educational sessions on chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and kidney disease. We will also provide updates on our teams' current and past research studies. You'll have the opportunity to learn about the progress we've made, upcoming plans, and how your contributions have improved our understanding of health inequities and related health outcomes.
In addition, we'll be hosting a Health Fair where you can participate in health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, kidney disease, and other conditions. You will also be able to attend informational sessions on different health topics.
We will also have fun, music, and entertainment for the whole family! Face painting, bingo, dancing, and food!
