Zoom Webinar and Q&A (Click to Register)

Co-Hosted by: the Milwaukee Environmental Collaboration Office and the Waukesha County Green Team

The sun is rising on a new and expanded Grow Solar program! Our Milwaukee and Waukesha county teams are combining forces for a larger group buy in 2025, allowing property owners to join together with their neighbors to learn about solar energy and secure significant discounts on this cost-saving technology.

Once again, the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) is teaming up with our local partners at the City of Milwaukee and the Waukesha County Green Team to offer our solar education and bulk purchasing program to residents of Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties.

With energy prices on the rise and big tax incentives for solar still available, 2025 is truly the best time to go solar, and our program can make it even more affordable. Want to learn more? Our free educational Solar Power Hour presentations are the place to start.

Shine on!

—The Grow Solar Team: Evonne Waugh, Jeff Schneider & Corey Ziemann

Get Started

Education is the first step in your solar journey. Our free Solar Power Hour presentations give an overview of how solar works, what makes a site suitable for solar panels, and how a group buy program can result in additional savings.

Our presentations will take place across Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties this spring and summer.  Keep your eyes on your email: our full schedule will be released soon!

Have you been researching solar on your own, or have you attended a Power Hour in a past program? To sign up for a site assessment right away, click here and fill out the sign up form. Our installer will reach out for a consultation!

2025 is the year to go solar!

For the past several years, a federal tax credit has been available that covers 30% of the cost of a new solar array. The tax credit is still available, and is anticipated to remain in place through the end of 2025. Combining the federal tax credit with the Grow Solar rebate can result in incredible savings on your solar system, so don't delay! Take advantage of the incentives and go solar with this year's program.

Thanks to our Partners & Installers

The program is supported by our two anchor partners, the City of Milwaukee Environmental Collaboration Office and the Waukesha County Green Team. This year, an independent advisory committee selected Arch Solar to be the program's designated installer.

PARTICIPANT TESTIMONIAL

“My family cares a lot about living out our sustainability values of taking care of other people and the Earth, but it wasn't until our good friends got solar panels through Grow Solar that we actually seriously looked into solar power ourselves... all of the amazing people in the Grow Solar program helped us navigate the rebates and tax write-offs available that made this affordable for us. And, when we realized it was possible, our neighbors did, too: we ended up getting our solar panels installed the same week as our neighbors!”

– Lacy Cagle, participant in Grow Solar St. Louis 2021
