Milwaukee, WI- June 18,2025: Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs, Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt, Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. Alderwoman Larresa Taylor, Alderman Lamont Westmoreland, Alderman DiAndre Jackson and Alderwoman Sharlen Moore will host a Juneteenth flag raising ceremony at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18 at the Zeidler Municipal Building, 841 N. Broadway St.


Milwaukee is home to one of the oldest and longest running Juneteenth Day celebrations in the nation, and to commemorate the upcoming holiday, City of Milwaukee officials will join together to raise the Juneteenth flag. The Juneteenth flag has flown over the City Hall complex in advance of Juneteenth annually since 2020. Media coverage is invited.
