Skate Night @ MMSD's West Basin

Thursday, August 7th, 4 - 7pm MMSD West Basin - 4350 N. 35th St (former Bee Bus Line site)

Northwest Side Community Development Corporation (NWSCDC) is hosting the 4th Annual Family Skate Night this Thursday, August 7th from 4-7pm at the West Basin (35th & Congress)!

MKE Rec will be bringing their Skate Van to provide free roller skate rentals for kids and adults along with music. Bring the whole family - all are welcome! Chef Arty will be grilling out and providing free food (while supplies last). Parking is available on site.

Make sure you bring/wear socks! If you'd like to use your own personal rollerblades or skates, you can bring those with you. Please also bring a water bottle.

Free food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out. Even if you have filled out our RSVP form in advance, it does not guarantee you a meal. Make sure to come early!

The event is free and open to the public! Walk-ups are welcome, but advanced RSVPs are appreciated to ease the check-in process.

At the event, you'll also have a chance to talk with MMSD staff to learn more about the progress and check out the design drafts for the West Basin stormwater project that will help reduce flooding in the neighborhood and incorporate a new community green space at 35th & Congress.
